PEOPLE OF THE BOOK

The journey of one family from Iraq to Bosnia in the search of safety, leaving a war waged by ISIS behind them is mirrored by those of the past hundreds of years fleeing persecution across Europe due to ethnicity, culture and religion. The story is sewn together by the imagined creation of the Sarajevo Haggadah, a 600-year-old text that today is protected in the museum of Sarajevo.
